C4DI have been supporting Hull’s digital community for over a decade now, providing its brightest talents with a hub in which to thrive. Our partnership with C4DI spans the same time, as we completed the fit out for them when they first moved into their home at the top of Humber Street.
The strength of this partnership meant that C4DI knew exactly who to call when they needed a refurbishment of their first floor.
The Vision
C4DI came to us with the need for a refreshed, modernised workspace to promote collaboration amongst new start-up tech businesses. They also wanted an open-plan layout so the space allowed users to flow through the ‘zones’ and benefit from its different uses.
We drew up a plan centred around everything C4DI needed from the space, resulting in a design which would unlock the full potential of the space and create an environment which has a truly natural feel.
The Change
The space had to hit the mark on all fronts, from look and feel to providing workers with the equipment they need to flourish.

The Achievement
Drenched in sunlight rolling in directly off the River Humber, the new space takes full advantage of its bustling location and has become a representation of Hull’s ambition.
With the focal point of the original design being the people, it’s rewarding to see the finalised space come to life and create such an inviting environment.
