Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

Chameleon Business Interiors is looking for an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting commercial interior fit-out projects across the UK, as part of a dynamic, collaborative business with a strong reputation for quality and delivery.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in the commercial success of our projects, from tender stage through to final account. Working closely with our project, design, and delivery teams, you’ll be involved in pricing, cost control, procurement, and commercial reporting across multiple fit-out schemes.
The role can be based from either our Leeds or Hull office, with flexibility depending on experience and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates and tenders
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Cost planning, value engineering, and risk assessment
- Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
- Commercial management of projects from award to completion
- Valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Working closely with project managers to ensure cost control and profitability
About You
- Proven experience as an Estimator and/or Quantity Surveyor within Construction
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Proficient in relevant estimating and commercial software
