A new global HQ for one of the world’s fastest growing software companies.
We worked with the international tech giant Ideagen to re-design its new head office, bringing a modern, industrial feel to the 30,000 sqft space.
Creating a new global HQ truly designed for people
Split over two floors, the 32,000 sqft floorplan needed to provide Ideagen with a flexible hub for collaboration and productivity.
We believe that the priority of a workspace should always be the people who work there. As such, this design really focused on wellness and how the various spaces would make colleagues feel.
Biophillic elements were incorporated to increase colleagues’ connectivity to the natural environment – which is known to improve both wellbeing and productivity. It also includes a variety of different settings for the 300 team members to relax and recharge.
The former NHS cellular office were transformed to create a new workspace that now includes a variety of settings, all with a contemporary finish. These include collaborative and agile spaces as well as communal relaxation areas.

Transporting colleagues from the office to an independent coffee shop - without leaving the building
On the ground floor of the new company HQ, we created a coffee shop. Here, everyone is provided with free breakfast and unlimited coffee throughout the day.
The design ‘transports’ colleagues from the office environment to the high street coffee shop, all without leaving the building. The space features impactful dark wooden flooring, tan leather seating, feature pendant lighting and its own colour palette. This creates a complementary – but subtly contrasting – feel to the rest of the building, allowing employees to truly take a break and socialise.
The office of the future
Completing Ideagen’s new HQ has prepared the tech company for the future as it continues to grow and thrive.
The new workspace inspires confidence and showcases Ideagen as a company that invests in itself and in its people. It also acts as a really powerful tool to attract the industry’s top talent and will inspire team members for years to come.
Negotiating a global pandemic to complete the project on time
Work on this project started in May 2020, so negotiating COVID-19 lockdown restrictions during the build was certainly a challenge for the team. But we built all potential delays into the programme and kept Ideagen and the project team up to date with any changes.
Despite all of the hurdles, we delivered Ideagen’s new HQ on time.
